I have been using Notion (a note-taking app for Windows, macOS, IOS and Android) for about 6 years. Notion allows you to make beautiful, functional and efficient notes. In fact, I am writing this on Notion right now.
Notion supports Apple Widgets, offers tons of stunning templates for your notes and also allows you to create your personal pages from the bottom up.
Here are some of the best uses I have found for it:
Note taking for school It is really quick and easy to clean up messy notes that you quickly make in class. It is also super fast to transform notes from class to active recall ready toggles. Notion’s page system is intuitive and I use it to organize the units and subjects in my main school page.
Journalling If you prefer to journal digitally or enjoy jotting down ideas you have, Notion is the perfect place to brainstorm and mind dump.
Tracking anything Maybe you are an athlete and need to track your training plan. Maybe you are trying to build good habits and need to track that. Maybe you want to track what books you are reading and rate them. Notion is great at tracking things with calendars, tags and databases that are easy to use and fast to work with on the day to day.
Notion is a great all in one software for you to take notes, track progress in anything and build your ideas. As far as I know, there is nothing like it so far and I can’t understand how some people get through high school without it.
I highly recommend giving Notion a shot. The best tip I can give you is to use the "/" key and just start messing around with the functions before you start your first page.
